Shopping trip: Katie Holmes stopped by the Christian Dior children's boutique in Paris today
It's not uncommon for parents to bring their children souvenirs home from a foreign trip.
But while most arrive back home bearing toys, Katie Holmes instead picked up some designer clothes for her five-year-old daughter Suri today in Paris.
The actress shopped in the children's boutique of Christian Dior to add to her fashionable child's rumoured two million pound wardrobe.
Katie, 32, looked stylish herself in a pair of dark skinny jeans, heels and cream blouse when she dropped into the high-end store in Paris.
She had earlier attended the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2011/2012 show at Palais de Chaillot.
The Batman Begins star, chic in a black shirt and cropped trousers, sat front row at the show with Roberta Armani and Cate Blanchett.
Stylish souvenir: The actress, in town for fashion week, was shopping for her fashionable daughter Suri Cruise
Given her daughter's love of labels, it is surprising that Miss Holmes did not ask for a plus one for the event.
Katie and her husband Tom Cruise have been open about their willingness to pander to Suri's love of expensive designer clothing - including her highly-criticised penchant for heels at her tender age.
Some of the items in the celebrity offspring's staggering wardrobe are an £11,000 Hermes bag, £1330 Dolce & Gabbana trench coat and £500 Ferragamo bag.

Lucky girl: The youngster is rumoured to have a wardrobe worth £2million
Her shoe collection alone is understood to be worth £93,000 and includes several pairs of custom-made £500 Marc Jacobs shoes and Christian Louboutin miniature heels.
Katie revealed recently said of Suri: 'She'll really tell me [what she thinks],' she said.
'Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, "I don't like your pants." But then she'll say, "You've got to wear these shoes." Or "That's so pretty, Mom. Wear that."'

'She's got a great eye.'
And the little fashionista certainly knows what she likes for her own wardrobe. 'The other day we came out of a store, and she said, "I want to go there," pointing at another store quite a distance away,' Holmes continued.
'In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, "Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away."
