Model Involved In The Alleged Azkals Rape Scandal Cries Harassment

July 15, 2011
The alleged victim of the purported "gang rape" met with the press today.
The University of the Philippines graduate, who majored in Physics, and now a glamour model cried foul with regard to her being pulled out on FHM's sexy girls' bash on July 14.
Dig this, Girl said she was plucked out of the show because of the alleged " Azkals rape controversy."

In an article written on ABS CBN News, Atty Sangcalang said, and I quote, "she was pulled out because of the issue the management has heard about."

This glamour model was ranting "unfair" on her sudden pull-out, even contemplated on the possibility of suing the production because according to her, "They pulled me out of the show, wala naman akong ginagawa to everyone...I put my heart to it, I dedicated myself. All my efforts are nasayang lang kasi I’m not going to be part of it."

Now, speaking of the alleged rape, girl said that until now they are still studying the case thoroughly.
She told reporter Mario Dumaual, “I’ve already referred that matter to my lawyer and he advised me not to be out in the open until we have studied the case thoroughly including the ramifications. And so far, no comment on that issue that I cannot prove at this point.”

In a statement sent to ABS-CBN News, which  I will post here, the girl's lawyer, Atty. Sangcalang said,

"She doesn’t want this issue to appear like a publicity stunt. And next, she also doesn’t want to downgrade, put in a bad light or pull down the entire Azkals team and the entire Philippine football. She doesn’t want to do that...

She knows that these Azkals are very popular right now. Public sympathy will not be on her side. So, these are some of the matters she is thinking about and reflecting on. Actually, she changed her phone number because she's being harassed right now."

The anonymous girl for now, the alleged victim, said that her family is still not aware of the controversy. She further told Dumaual, “How would you feel kung nadawit ka, ang anak mo or sister mo? So, you can just imagine how I feel, di ba?”

The Azkals players who were involved in the alleged rape earlier dismissed all the allegations as rumors, saying it's not true.
